Fotomoto is a print-on-demand e-commerce widget that adds a shopping cart to an existing website, allowing visitors to buy prints and other image products without leaving the site. Established in 2008 and acquired by Bay Photo Lab in 2013, it handles billing, printing, packaging, shipping, and customer support. Users add a one-line script to their site, choose products and pricing, and can either let Fotomoto fulfil orders or handle fulfillment themselves.
The platform supports Premium Prints, Fine Art Prints, Canvas Prints, Sticky Prints, Greeting Cards, Digital Downloads, eCards, and Frames. Collections allow different product and pricing settings for different groups of artwork. The widget can be customized with a logo and color, and CSS controls are available for further styling. Integrations include WordPress, Tumblr, and Squarespace, with a developer API and support for partner platforms.
Fotomoto is aimed at photographers, designers, illustrators, publishers, agencies, academic institutions, and organizations. It offers a Free plan, along with Pro and Pro Plus paid editions that add features such as multiple stores, auto pickup, coupons, and light branding. All plans include unlimited images, with transaction fees applying to paid plans.
