foobar2000
Advanced freeware audio player for all platforms.
foobar2000 is a freeware audio player for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, with the Windows version also running on Linux through Wine. It plays mainstream audio formats out of the box, while additional decoder components add support for further formats. It handles gapless playback, network streaming, and internet radio, and states that it collects no telemetry or data.
Its feature set includes an easily customizable interface layout on Windows and macOS, advanced tagging, Audio CD ripping, transcoding of supported formats, full ReplayGain support, and customizable keyboard shortcuts. Built-in DSP effects are supplemented by DSP components, with VST effects loadable through a VST adapter on Windows and Audio Units on macOS. Internet radio integrates with Radio Browser, and foobar2000 can stream music on a local network or control network audio players and other foobar2000 instances. An open component architecture lets third-party developers extend the player with add-on components.
