File upload API for developers. One POST request, one permanent CDN URL.
FilePost is a file hosting API that returns a permanent public CDN URL from a single HTTP POST request. Files are stored on Backblaze B2 and delivered through Cloudflare's CDN, so developers, automation builders, and agencies can skip configuring S3 buckets, IAM roles, and CDN distributions. Uploaded files have no automatic expiry by default; URLs remain valid until deleted, an expiry is configured, or the account is terminated.
The REST API supports uploads via cURL, Python, Node.js, or any HTTP client, with file management endpoints for listing, metadata, and deletion. Intake links collect uploads from others, and webhooks send signed notifications when files arrive. Integrations include a verified n8n node, a public Zapier app, a Make HTTP module recipe, and a native Pipedream component; base64 JSON uploads are also supported. Interactive Swagger/OpenAPI docs are available for testing endpoints in the browser.
FilePost is packaged as a free tier plus Lite, Starter, and Pro paid editions, with monthly or annual billing. The free tier requires no credit card and offers a provisional upload before email verification, after which a monthly upload quota and larger file size limits apply. Paid plans raise upload counts, maximum file size, storage, and API rate limits; Starter and Pro add priority support, and Pro includes an uptime SLA.
