FBReader
An ePub reader supporting Readium LCP DRM that also opens fb2 and other formats, with free
FBReader is an ebook reader for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Chrome OS. It opens ePubs, including unencrypted files and those protected with Readium LCP, as well as fb2, mobi, HTML, RTF, and plain text files. The app uses its own book parser and rendering engine, which is described as lightweight, fast, and highly customisable. The project has been developed since 2005 and is maintained by FBReader.ORG Limited; it has not been open-source since 2015.
The app is available through the Microsoft Store, Mac App Store, Google Play, Huawei App Gallery, and direct downloads. The Android app comes in free, premium, beta, and plugin variants. The iOS free version limits the library to ten books and disables online translators, with a paid full version available. The Book Network provides online storage in Google Drive space, with library organisation by author and series, and synchronisation of collections, reading positions, and bookmarks across devices. For developers, the FBReader SDK is offered as a library for building an ebook reader.
