ExaVault is a self-hosted file transfer server appliance for teams that must keep file transfer infrastructure inside their own datacenter, VPC, or air-gapped network. It provides FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and WebDAV endpoints with a browser-based file manager, replacing the need to run a traditional FTP server while keeping data under the organization's control. The appliance is available as a VMware OVA image and through AWS, GCP, and Azure marketplaces.

The appliance includes a web file manager with drag-and-drop upload, search, previews, share links, and granular per-user permissions. It supports AD/LDAP integration, SSO, two-factor authentication, and an audit log. The same files are accessible via the web interface, SFTP, or desktop drive mounts. The appliance is free for deployments up to 50 users; above that, a paid license is required, with paid support tiers available for production deployments. A migration path to Files.com Cloud is built in for teams that later want cloud-based automation, REST API, and AS2 partner integrations.
