Ergo
Modern IRC software
Ergo, formerly known as Oragono, is an IRC server written in Go that combines an IRC daemon, a services framework, and bouncer functionality in a single program. It addresses the need to run a full IRC service without separately deploying account management, history storage, and bouncer components.
The server provides integrated account management, message history storage, and bouncer features, along with extensive IRCv3 support suitable for use as an IRCv3 reference implementation. Configuration is handled through a YAML file that can be reloaded while the server is running. Admin and user documentation, a GitHub repository, and a testnet instance are available, and release tags and binaries are GPG-signed.
Ergo is intended for operators and communities running IRC networks or servers. It is distributed as open-source software through GitHub releases, with no paid editions, trials, or seat-based plans described.
