The software includes turning and milling modules with Fast Shapes, toolpath simulation, a timeline, setup sheets, a tool store, thread table, and post processor customization. It supports 2D/3D model import, engraving, 3D toolpaths, adaptive strategy, indexed axis support, drilling recognition, lathe Y-axis, custom stock profiles, and turning feature recognition. Additional capabilities include a fixture manager, CIMCO Edit integration, and a cost estimating report.
eCam is offered in HOBBY and PRO editions, sold as a one-time payment with a 14-day full-feature trial. The PRO edition adds features such as setup sheets, CIMCO Edit integration, the fixture manager, cost estimating, adaptive strategy, indexed axis support, drilling recognition, live tooling, Y-axis lathe support, custom stock profiles, and turning feature recognition.
