Dropzone 5
Enhance productivity on your Mac
Dropzone 5 is a Mac app that changes how drag and drop works, speeds up file transfers, simplifies launching applications, and connects with various services to streamline workflows. When a file is dragged, Dropzone appears at the top of the screen so files can be dropped onto actions to move, share, upload, and more; it can also be opened from the menu item.
Features include multiple grids with customizable columns and layout, custom folder icons, a dz command line tool for terminal control, Drop Bar for temporarily holding files, keyboard shortcuts, and a sharing service. Actions cover file management (rename, move, copy, AirDrop), apps and automation (launch apps, create notes, run shortcuts, install apps), media (resize and compress images, download videos, shorten URLs), and cloud and storage (SFTP upload, Amazon S3, Imgur). An add-on library lets users install more actions or develop their own in Ruby or Python.
Dropzone 5 is for Mac users and requires macOS 13 or later. It is available as a lifetime license, with a 14-day trial for Pro features, and can also be obtained through Setapp or the Mac App Store.
