digiCamControl is a free Windows application for controlling cameras connected over USB. It supports remote setting adjustment, image capture triggering, instant image review with histogram and metadata, live view with remote focus, bracketed and time-lapse shooting, motion-detection triggering, and simultaneous control of multiple cameras. It also includes an astronomy module for long-exposure photography and a web server for remote control from a browser. The software is released under the MIT license and its source code is available for modification.
