d9 is an open-source data platform, a fork of Directus 9 maintained independently by La Webcapsule under GPLv3. It installs as a layer on top of a new or existing SQL database, using database introspection to read the schema and build an abstraction layer, so existing data can be imported without migrations and the database remains portable.

Once introspected, d9 dynamically generates REST and GraphQL API endpoints and provides CLI tools and a JavaScript SDK. The no-code App is a GUI over the API, with modules for data and content management, digital file asset management, and drag-and-drop analytics dashboards. It supports CRUD operations, users and roles with granular permissions, webhooks, task automation, and configurable SSO, caching, and file storage. It is built in TypeScript on Node.js and Vue.js and is self-hosted via Docker, bare metal, or a cloud provider.

d9 is aimed at developers, data analysts, and non-technical business users working together on one platform, covering use cases such as backend as a service, headless CMS, internal tooling, and data management. The pages describe it as fully open source with no stated limits on users or roles, and do not mention a free plan, trial, or paid editions.
