Cosine

We train AI models and specialised coding agents for organisations that need frontier code

Visit Cosine

Cosine is a UK-based AI research lab that trains coding-focused models and provides tools for software development in secure environments. It addresses the need for AI assistance on complex, existing codebases, including those in regulated industries, by offering deployment options that range from a public cloud service to fully air-gapped installations within an organisation's own security perimeter.

The product suite includes the Lumen model family, with Scout, Outpost, and Sovereign models designed for different parts of the development workflow. Users can interact with these models through a terminal-native CLI, which supports local-to-remote execution, external tool access via MCP, and multi-agent orchestration, or through a collaborative cloud workspace for running parallel tasks. The models are post-trained for enterprise and niche languages such as COBOL, Fortran, Verilog, Rust, and complex SQL.

Cosine is packaged with a credit-based system across its Starter, Team, and Enterprise plans, where credits are consumed by agent work, model calls, and cloud execution. Additional credits can be purchased as needed. Enterprise and private deployment pricing is scoped separately through sales.
