Cockpit
Manage structured content with a simple, headless content platform.
Cockpit is a self-hosted, open-source headless content platform for managing structured content and delivering it to websites, mobile apps and SPAs through an API. It provides a flexible content model with multiple field types, conditional fields and content previews, alongside an asset manager with cloud storage support, nestable folders and an image API for thumbnails. Content can be organized in a single hub, distributed across multiple channels, localized into multiple languages, and managed with fine-grained roles and permissions plus revisions for reverting changes.
The platform exposes REST and GraphQL APIs and includes a set of addons: Autopilot for AI-assisted text and image generation, Detektivo full-text search powered by Meilisearch, Sync for moving content between environments, Webhooks for event-based automation, Layouts for component-based visual page building, Pages for routing and SEO, Lokalize for translation suggestions via DeepL or LibreTranslate, Personi for audience-based personalization, and Inbox for form submissions. It is packaged as MIT-licensed open-source software with no subscription, self-hosted on your own server.
