Cloud Foundry is an open source platform for building and running cloud-native applications. It addresses the need to deploy applications without writing infrastructure configuration for Kubernetes and Istio, using a single `cf push` command to take code to a running application.

The platform supports Java, Node, Go, Python, PHP, Ruby, and .NET out of the box, and can be extended through community buildpacks. Related projects include Korifi, which provides an abstraction over Kubernetes; the Open Service Broker API for delivering and managing service offerings; and Paketo Buildpacks for language runtime support. Cloud Foundry can be deployed to any infrastructure, including Kubernetes, and is accompanied by free tutorials and an online training course. Security vulnerabilities in the open source codebases are reported to the Cloud Foundry Foundation Security Team.
