Browser Use is an open source (MIT licensed) platform that provides managed remote browsers for AI agents, plus a hosted agent product that runs web tasks on the user's behalf. It can be run in the cloud or on a local machine, and is accessed through an SDK, REST API, or CDP.
The product is split into two parts: Browser Infrastructure, a remote browser service for driving your own agents and automations, and Browser Use Agents, where you submit a task and the hosted agent executes it. Related capabilities include Playwright-compatible remote browsing, CAPTCHA solving, anti-detect browsing, an MCP server, a web agent API, form filling, login automation, proxies, and custom model APIs. The platform is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
Browser Use is aimed at developers and teams building browser-driven agents and automation. Pricing is usage-based with no subscription: credits are purchased with a minimum top-up, browser time is billed per hour plus internet traffic, and agent usage adds a service fee on top of model token costs. Concurrency limits scale with lifetime spend. An Enterprise tier offers custom concurrency, SLAs, data policy, HIPAA support, and zero data retention.
