Brainbase is a platform for hosting, evaluating, and improving AI agents across any model or harness. It addresses the challenge of running agents reliably in production by providing a Managed Agents API, orchestration for multi-agent systems, sandboxed execution environments, observability, and automated improvement through hillclimbing. Agents can be deployed on Brainbase's managed cloud, private cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), on-premise, or hybrid setups.
Core capabilities include a versioned registry for agents, skills, and tools; managed authentication and permissions; multi-agent orchestration with shared state and hand-offs; and deployment across surfaces including API, chat, Slack, Zoom, email, and voice. Sandboxes support Linux, Windows, and macOS across providers such as Modal, Daytona, and E2B. Observability covers trace search, latency, cost, and quality metrics, with evals including code-based assertions, LLM-as-judge, and agent-as-judge scoring. Hillclimbing automates agent improvement based on defined criteria.
Brainbase is aimed at builders and teams deploying agents to production. It offers a free Individuals plan with starter credits, a Teams plan with a monthly platform fee and included credits, and a custom Enterprise plan with SSO, RBAC, hybrid deployment, and dedicated support.
