Bookvault is a print-on-demand book printing and self-publishing platform operated by printondemand-worldwide, a UK digital book and journal printer based in Peterborough. Authors upload book files, sell through retailers or a direct storefront, and orders are printed on demand and shipped worldwide. Special edition features such as foiling, sprayed edges, endpapers, ribbons and head/tail bands are available from a single copy.
The platform supports multiple bindings including hardback, paperback, wiro-bound, cloth hardback, spiral-bound and saddle-stitched. Sales can be routed through retailers such as Amazon, Gardners and Alibris, or sold directly through Bookvault Shop storefronts with automated fulfilment. E-commerce integrations include Shopify, Payhip, Wix, WooCommerce, Kickstarter and an API. Automation tools, real-time sales reporting and royalty payouts within 90 days are included.
Bookvault is aimed at independent authors and larger publishing businesses. Accounts are free to create, with a per-title setup fee. Three monthly plans are offered: a free tier for a small selection of titles, a mid-tier plan for several books each month, and a higher tier for larger businesses with discounted rush services, advanced reporting and developer support.
