Authenticator
An open-source replacement for Google's authenticator app
Authenticator is an open-source two-factor authentication app that generates one-time passwords using HMAC-based algorithms (HOTP and TOTP). It supports SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512 hash functions, and originally supported MD5 before that support was removed due to a flaw where the 16-byte MD5 hash could produce inconsistent passwords. It was built as an open-source alternative to Google's authenticator app and supports the otpauth:// key URI format.
