AudioTag
Free music recognition service
AudioTag identifies unknown music recordings using a proprietary acoustic fingerprinting algorithm. Users can submit an audio file or paste a direct link from services such as YouTube and Coub, and the service analyzes the recording to return recognition results. The homepage notes that an optimal upload is 15–45 seconds, with analysis covering up to five minutes from the start of the audio.
Recognition is supported by a music database and related discovery tools, including a music videos database, a time machine for browsing older recordings, recently added tracks, and RadioTag, which monitors radio stations and auto-tags their music. The site also provides an API, an About & FAQ section, and a way to add music to the database. The pages do not describe a free plan, trial, editions, or seat-based and usage-based packaging.
