Apache Directory Studio
A complete directory tooling platform for LDAP servers, built as an Eclipse RCP desktop.
Apache Directory Studio is a directory tooling platform for working with LDAP servers, with particular support for ApacheDS. It is built as an Eclipse RCP application from Eclipse (OSGi) plugins, so additional plugins can be added, and the plugins can also run inside Eclipse.
The platform is part of the Apache Directory project, which also includes ApacheDS, an extensible and embeddable Java directory server certified as LDAPv3 compatible by the Open Group, along with support for Kerberos 5 and the Change Password Protocol. Related components include the Apache LDAP API, a schema-aware and OSGi-ready API for accessing LDAP servers, and Apache Fortress, a standards-based authorization system providing attribute and role-based access control, delegated administration, and password policy services over an LDAP backend.
Apache Directory Studio is available as a free download for Linux, macOS, and Windows, with releases published alongside the other Apache Directory sub-projects.
