The health coach that texts you first
Amby is a proactive AI health coach that reaches out over text messages rather than waiting for the user to open an app. It reads training, sleep, and recovery data from connected services and initiates check-ins at relevant moments, such as before a session or when recovery metrics suggest caution. It asks for confirmation before logging, changing, or sharing anything.
Coaching takes place over iMessage and SMS, with an iOS athlete app and a web app providing the plan, activity history, and recovery trends. Integrations include Strava, Garmin Connect, and Apple Health. The platform tracks recovery, training load, and consistency, and supports proactive check-ins, questions by text, and session logging by text. Each coaching moment can be turned off during setup.
Amby is aimed at athletes who already track training and recovery data. It is currently in an invite-only pilot, with capabilities rolling out gradually during onboarding; the web app is in private beta.
