Agency Tool Company provides infrastructure for robotics teams to build, deploy, manage, and operate field robots. It addresses the problem that existing build and deployment systems, designed for disposable and always-connected cloud or IoT devices, do not suit the reality of fielded robots, which face intermittent connectivity, diverse hardware, and complex update requirements. This friction bottlenecks developer iteration and field rollouts.

The platform consists of two main products. ATC Deploy offers over-the-air software updates and fleet management, supporting one robot on a bench or thousands in the field. It uses smart delta updates and compression for fast transfers, works with stacks like ROS 2 and Docker, and provides a CLI for engineers and a web UI for operators. ATC Build, coming soon, is a CI runner backed by hosted embedded compute hardware, such as NVIDIA Jetson (Orin Nano, NX, AGX, Thor), allowing continuous integration to execute on the same target hardware used in production. It integrates with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

The tools are built for robotics teams moving robots from development to production, including engineers, fleet managers, and test technicians.
