WebSitePulse is a website and server monitoring service that checks servers, network devices, webpages and web transactions from multiple locations around the world at intervals as frequent as every minute, sending alerts when errors are detected. Each monitoring target is configured individually, letting users choose the interval, monitoring locations and additional features.

The service includes server and network monitoring, uptime monitoring, webpage monitoring, web transaction monitoring, email round-trip monitoring, vulnerability monitoring, blacklist monitoring, certificate monitoring and custom monitoring. Alerting supports email, SMS, voice call, instant messenger, pager, SNMP trap and URL notifications, with escalation schemes, false alarm prevention and do-not-disturb periods. Reporting covers real-time reports, response time breakdown, multi-location comparisons, traceroute on errors, raw data downloads in XML, CSV and TXT formats, and a WSDL and HTTP API. Error detection uses a triple-stage verification system with independent location confirmation, screenshots and snapshots on errors, and multi-level location correlation. Account administration includes a web-based control panel, multi-user support with individual access rights, a system log, and Android and iOS apps with push notifications.

WebSitePulse is packaged per target rather than per account, with individual target configurations and pricing. Monitoring intervals can be set from 1 minute to once per week, and scheduled downtime rules, custom time zones and manual suspension are available per target.
