Wazuh is a free and open source security platform that combines XDR and SIEM capabilities in a single solution for endpoints, cloud workloads, and networks. It collects and analyzes security data to detect threats, respond to incidents, and support compliance requirements across public clouds, private clouds, and on-premises environments.
The platform includes modules for configuration assessment, malware detection, file integrity monitoring, threat hunting, log data analysis, vulnerability detection, incident response, regulatory compliance, IT hygiene, container security, posture management, and workload protection. Its architecture consists of the Wazuh server, Wazuh indexer, Wazuh dashboard, and a multi-platform agent supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, Solaris, HP UX, and AIX. Integrations include AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Microsoft 365, GitHub, Docker, VirusTotal, TheHive, and PagerDuty.
Wazuh is available at no cost under an open-source model with community support. A managed cloud service is offered with a free trial, providing ready-to-use environments for security monitoring and endpoint protection.
