WaveDNA
Liquid Music and Liquid Rhythm for creating melodies, chords and basslines
WaveDNA was founded in Toronto in 2010 by Douglas Mummenhoff and David Beckford to create virtual instruments that streamline the composition process for songwriters, producers, and composers. A working prototype of what would drive Liquid Rhythm was developed by 2009, an engine that can analyze musical compositions, isolate and catalog rhythmic, melodic, and harmonic characteristics, and recall those elements without sheet music, multi-track recorders, or live musicians.
