Tix

Tix is a cloud-based ticketing system that handles box office and online ticket sales, combining access controls, event management, multi-channel distribution, and reporting. It also supports inventory controls, invoicing, and financial accountability, with a customer-facing ticket sales page that can be styled to match an organization's existing website.

The platform includes reserved and general admission seating options, season packages with same-seat renewals, CRM and email marketing tools, donations and memberships, and analytics that segment data by event, payment method, order type, cashier, and date ranges. Orders can be taken by phone, fax, mail, box office, internet, and Facebook. A mobile box office runs on iPad, iPhone, and other devices without an app install, while the TixScan app on iOS performs real-time barcode scanning for E-Tickets and hard tickets. Payment processing can use the organization's own merchant account or Tix's, with compatibility across a range of e-commerce gateways.

Tix is aimed at venues, promoters, producers, universities, museums, casinos, theatres, film festivals, fairs, trade shows, non-profits, and similar organizations. There are no set-up, monthly, or annual fees; instead, fees are charged per ticket, with separate rates for box office and online sales, plus optional credit card processing and ticket printing and mailing. Fees can be passed to the buyer or built into the ticket price.
