Skip
One Swift Codebase. Two Native Platforms.
Skip is a free, open-source tool that lets developers write an app once in Swift and SwiftUI and ship it natively on both iOS and Android. The iOS build runs as native SwiftUI, while the Android build is produced as native Jetpack Compose, with no intermediary rendering engine. Development happens in Xcode, where a Skip plugin builds the Android version alongside iOS so both can be launched in the iOS Simulator and Android emulator at the same time. Skip works entirely at build time and adds no runtime, embedded engine, or garbage collector to the shipped iOS app. The project is bootstrapped and community-funded, with no venture capital investment.
