SHAllenge
Compete to get the lowest SHA256 possible
SHAllenge is a hash competition where the goal is to produce the lowest possible SHA256 hash. Participants submit a string in the format {username}/{nonce}, where the username is 1-32 characters from a-zA-Z0-9_- and the nonce is 1-64 characters from Base64 (a-zA-Z0-9+/). The hash of the full string is scored, not just the nonce. The site suggests using your Hacker News username and asks participants not to try to monopolize the leaderboard with multiple usernames. A browser-based miner is linked as a starting point. A public leaderboard displays submitted entries with their hashes and submission timestamps.
