RegexPal

A tool to learn, build, and test regular expressions (RegEx / RegExp).

Visit RegexPal

RegexPal is an online regular expression tester for learning, building, and testing RegEx/RegExp patterns. Results update in real time as you type, and hovering over a match or expression reveals details. Expressions can be saved and shared, and the Library offers help, examples, and searchable, rateable community patterns.

The tool supports JavaScript and PCRE regex flavors with selectable flags, a test string area, and a substitution panel. It includes undo/redo, a cheat sheet covering character classes, anchors, escaped characters, groups and lookaround, and quantifiers and alternation. It is designed for modern browsers and is not optimized for mobile devices.
