Visit PVS-Studio

PVS-Studio is a static code analyzer that detects errors and potential vulnerabilities in C, C++, C#, Java, Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript source code. It runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS and supports analysis of 32-bit, 64-bit, and ARM embedded platforms. The tool can be installed on-premise and run offline.

The analyzer integrates with IDEs, CI pipelines such as nightly builds, and game engines including Unreal Engine and Unity, each with tailored diagnostic rules. It supports SAST standards including CWE, OWASP, and MISRA, and offers mass suppression of warnings to focus on new or changed code. Integrations with SonarQube and Jenkins are available, along with HTML report generation and a command-line version.

PVS-Studio is offered in Team and Enterprise editions, distinguished by team size, code base size, platform coverage, and features such as custom diagnostics and notification systems. A trial is available, and the distribution kit can be downloaded without registration. Free licenses are available for open-source developers, students and professors, security experts, and Microsoft MVPs.
