PortSwigger is a web security company that develops Burp Suite, a toolkit for testing web application security. It also runs the Web Security Academy, a free online training resource with interactive labs, and publishes original security research through PortSwigger Research.

Burp Suite is offered in several editions: Community Edition provides manual testing tools, Professional is a full penetration testing toolkit, and DAST is an enterprise dynamic vulnerability scanner with CI-driven scanning. Burp AT adds agentic AI capabilities to human-led pentesting. The platform includes Burp Proxy, Burp Scanner, and the BApp store for community-developed extensions, and supports workflows for penetration testing, automated scanning, DevSecOps, bug bounty hunting, and compliance.
