Free image sharing, linking and tracking
PictShare is an image hosting service that returns a direct link for each uploaded image. Image dimensions can be changed by adding size parameters to the URL, with an option to force exact dimensions while keeping aspect ratio. Additional modifiers and filters are available for on-the-fly changes. The service exposes a JSON API over GET and POST requests, supporting uploads by file, by URL, and by Base64 string.
The API includes endpoints for uploading, a passthrough endpoint for on-the-fly modifications without saving images, and an album endpoint for grouping existing files into an immutable gallery. A built-in Model Context Protocol server lets MCP-capable clients such as Claude Code and Claude Desktop upload and manage files directly, with tools for uploading from URL or Base64, fetching file info, deleting files, creating albums, and building transformed image URLs. Uploads return a delete code and delete URL for removal.
