Outerbase

The interface for your database

Visit Outerbase

Outerbase is a web interface for working with SQL and NoSQL databases, combining a table editor, query tools, dashboards and a data catalog in one place. It connects to databases including Postgres, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift, with SSH tunneling for private databases.

Core modules include a spreadsheet-style table editor with plugins and an embeddable Astra table component, a query editor with AI assistance, dashboards with AI-generated charts, and a data catalog for defining business terms, relational diagrams and virtual relationships. AI features include EZQL natural-language querying, an AI-powered editor that fixes and suggests queries, and AI-built dashboards. Security features include two-factor authentication, role-based access control, encryption, and HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.

Outerbase is aimed at engineers, researchers and analysts working with databases. It is packaged as a free plan for a single user, paid per-user tiers (Hobby and Pro) with monthly or annual billing, and an Enterprise edition offering custom AI models, private cloud or on-premises deployment, audit trails and dedicated support.
