OneTap is an attendance tracking and check-in platform designed for organizations that run recurring sessions—schools, universities, nonprofits, workplaces, clubs, and events. It replaces paper sign-in sheets and manual spreadsheets by providing a persistent digital roster that carries across sessions, so last week’s record sits next to this week’s and year-end totals are automatically compiled. The platform helps organizations stay audit-ready, verify attendance for compliance or grant reporting, and know who is in the building at any time.
Key capabilities include QR code check-in, iPad kiosk mode, web kiosk, an iOS visitor app, and SMS sign-in links. Features include location tracking and geofencing to prevent proxy check-ins, time and IP device restrictions, personalized QR passes, check-out tracking, and filterable reports that can be exported as Excel, CSV, or PDF. The platform also offers an AI attendance tracking feature that lets users ask questions about check-ins and reports in plain English, and integrates with registration forms, CRMs, and learning management systems via API.
OneTap is used by K-12 and private schools, universities, after-school and youth programs, workplaces, membership clubs, churches, and nonprofits. It offers a free forever plan for up to 20 people with no credit card required. Paid plans are billed yearly and priced by the number of people tracked, starting at a Basic tier for 250 profiles and scaling up to a Custom tier for 1,000+ profiles with additional features like SSO and custom reports. A single-event plan is also available for 14 days.
