Norton Family is parental control software that gives parents visibility into their child's online activity and tools to manage it. It covers search terms, viewed videos, visited sites, and installed apps, along with screen time limits and device location tracking. A School Time feature lets parents allow school-required sites while blocking other distractions during school hours.
Location tools include mapping of Android and iOS devices with a 30-day history, Favorite Locations boundaries with arrival and boundary alerts, scheduled location alerts, and a Check In option for children to share their location. Time Supervision supports time limits and schedules on Windows PC, Android, and iOS, while Web Supervision and App Supervision let parents review and block sites and apps. Parents can receive email activity reports or use the Parent Portal, accessible from a browser or mobile apps.
Norton Family is offered with a 30-day trial and a subscription option. It is installed on a child's Windows PC, iOS, or Android device, with parents managing settings from Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android. Not all features are available on every platform, and some features require the in-app Norton Browser on iOS and Android.
