Nona

Manage feature flags and remote configs with a self-hosted open source tool.

Visit Nona

Nona is an open source, self-hostable remote configuration and feature flag service that allows teams to change application behaviour at runtime without deploying a new build. It solves the problem of needing to redeploy code to update feature flags, configuration values, or kill switches across environments, providing a single REST API that returns configuration as JSON for any language or platform.

The service offers feature flags that can be toggled per environment, mobile remote configuration for iOS, Android, React Native, and Flutter, kill switches for disabling broken features in production, and multi-environment configuration isolated by API key. It provides native client libraries for JavaScript, Node.js, React Native, .NET, Kotlin, Android, Swift, and iOS, and is compatible with the OpenFeature vendor-neutral API. Additional capabilities include config releases for immutable snapshots, shareable parameter links for temporary access, and a CLI for migrating from Firebase Remote Config.

Nona is built for teams that want an open source system they can self-host, inspect, and own. It is packaged as a Docker container that can be self-hosted in minutes, with the source code available under the Apache 2.0 licence. The service is free to use and self-host, with no account required to access the source code or try the live demo.
