Mapulus
The data layer for understanding Australia's physical world
Mapulus is a data layer for Australian physical-world information, aggregating and normalising movement, events, environment, property, and demographics into a single queryable layer. It addresses the fragmentation of location data across agencies, vendors, and formats, allowing organisations to import their own data and enrich it with real-world context such as foot traffic, nearby events, weather, and demographic signals.
The platform centres on Mapulus Studio, where users import locations from CSV, Google Sheets, HubSpot, or Zapier, explore them visually, and export enriched results. Base data includes demographics, boundaries, isochrones, and geocoding, with premium data packs covering property and planning, events, POI, movement, environment and risk, and fundraising. A Lookup API, bulk export, and incremental feeds are listed as coming soon, alongside an enterprise option for delivery to a customer's own S3 bucket. Advisory services provide bespoke location analysis.
Mapulus is aimed at teams in sectors including child care, real estate, retail, and construction, as well as developers integrating location context into applications. Studio is packaged with a free Exploration plan and paid tiers scaled by users, maps, locations, and monthly credits, with additional users, location packs, and premium data packs available as add-ons. Annual billing is offered at a discount, and an Enterprise tier provides contracted credit volume and custom terms.
