mailfloss is an email verification service that connects to email platforms to keep subscriber lists clean. It addresses problems such as typos, bot and spam signups, bounces, and natural list decay that can harm sender reputation and increase costs.
The service includes four main modules: Typo Fixer, which corrects common domain misspellings; Instafloss, which verifies signups in real time; Autofloss, which runs a daily batch cleanup of new subscribers; and Decay Protection, which re-validates an existing list on a configurable schedule. Spotless extends cleaning to contact names and phone numbers on higher editions. It integrates with email platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, and ActiveCampaign, and also offers CSV upload, copy-and-paste verification, Google Sheets and Airtable extensions, Zapier, a JS form widget, webhooks, and a REST verification API.
mailfloss is aimed at email marketers, list owners, and developers. It is available through a free plan with a monthly verification allowance, a free trial, and paid plans based on monthly verification volume, with Spotless available on Business and above. A pay-per-credit CSV option is also offered without a subscription.
