Jortt is an online accounting program for Dutch sole traders and small and medium businesses. It connects to your bank account and uses an automated bookkeeping assistant, the Boekhoudbot, to categorize transactions, handle VAT returns, and prepare annual accounts. It also offers payroll, invoicing, and an MCP connection to external AI assistants.
The Boekhoudbot books incoming and outgoing transactions in real time, applying standard rules and your own custom rules. It prepares and submits VAT returns to the tax authority, and prepares annual accounts and tax figures for review. Invoicing and quotes are included, along with payroll runs and payslips. From the MKB edition, an MCP connection lets you query your books and prepare invoices through external AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude. Bank connections run on Jortt's own PSD2 license and cover most Dutch banks and Revolut.
Jortt is packaged in several editions: a free Starter plan with invoicing and quotes, a ZZP edition with bank connection, Boekhoudbot, VAT filing, and income tax report, and an MKB edition adding annual accounts, corporate tax report, multiple bank accounts, payroll, and the MCP connection. A 30-day trial is available, and monthly and yearly subscriptions can be cancelled at the end of each term. Payroll is priced per payslip per active employee.
