Jolicloud was a cloud computing company founded by Tariq Krim (CEO) and Romain Huet (CTO). The company developed Joli OS, described as the first cloud OS designed for netbooks and recycled computers, and the Jolibook, a personal cloud computer sold in retail in Europe. Jolicloud Me was a mobile app for accessing a personal cloud on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. The company was backed by investors including Atomico Ventures and Mangrove Capital Partners. Jolicloud was discontinued on April 1, 2016, and the team directed former users to a successor project called Polite.
