IOTA is a decentralized blockchain infrastructure for building and securing digital systems. It provides a public network and a suite of products for creating applications around digital identity, tokenization, notarization, and supply chain and sustainability use cases, alongside decentralized finance.

The IOTA Mainnet is a Layer 1 network combining a Directed Acyclic Graph ledger with the Move programming language and an object-centric ledger model, using Delegated Proof of Stake consensus. It supports smart contracts through its built-in MoveVM and a Layer 2 IOTA EVM for interoperability. The product suite includes IOTA Identity, Tokenization, Hierarchies, Gas Station, Notarization, and Audit Trails, with a Web Wallet Extension for onboarding and staking to help secure the network.

IOTA is aimed at developers and organizations building decentralized applications and real-world asset solutions. Access to the network and tools is permissionless, and the site does not describe paid plans, trials, or seat-based editions.
