Ideon

The spatial workspace for your projects.

Visit Ideon

Ideon is a self-hosted, open-source project workspace built on an infinite canvas, where repositories, notes, links, files, and people are organized as blocks in a single visual space. It addresses the fragmentation caused by switching between separate tools for code, documentation, and planning, keeping project context in one navigable view.

The workspace includes structured blocks for GitHub repositories, links, files, and text; spatial organization on the canvas; state history with snapshots and reverts; and real-time collaboration with shared cursors. It integrates with GitHub and Git, runs via Docker with PostgreSQL and Yjs, and is built with TypeScript and Next.js. Installation is handled through a single command, and guests can join shared views without an account.

Ideon is aimed at individuals and teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, as well as personal organization and creative work. Packaging includes a free Open Source edition for self-hosting with unlimited projects, users, and canvases, plus SAML/SSO and full API access; a managed Cloud edition with hosting, backups, and analytics; and an Enterprise edition with on-premise or private cloud deployment, custom branding, audit logs, and dedicated support.
