Graylog
Centralized log management and SIEM for lean teams
Graylog is a log management and SIEM platform that began in 2009 as an open source log management project and evolved into a full-featured SIEM on the same codebase. It addresses the challenge of collecting, searching, and analyzing log data across environments while supporting security operations, compliance, and IT troubleshooting. The platform offers editions for security, enterprise log management, open source self-managed use, API security, and a cloud platform.
Graylog Security provides threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities, including behavioral detectors such as Impossible Travel Detection and Log Volume Anomaly Detection, risk scoring by asset, automated case creation, AI investigation summaries, and a built-in MCP server for natural language queries and bring-your-own LLM integration. Graylog Enterprise supports centralized log management with search, alerting, reporting, data routing, tiered retention, and compliance content packs. Graylog Open is a free, self-managed edition for collecting, storing, searching, and analyzing log data. The platform runs in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployments with feature parity, and supports Sigma rule imports from GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, plus AWS Security Lake integration.
