Visit GIF Monger

GIF Monger is a Slack app that lets teams search for and post GIFs inside Slack. The homepage presents GIFs as a way for teams to express themselves, and the site lists GIF-related features such as Cowsay, Tofutalk, Throw and Catch. The about page describes the app's origin story: it was created after the Tenor GIF Keyboard disappeared from Slack in late 2021, went through development involving OAuth and Slack message verification, and launched in production in November 2023. The site states that a GIF is posted roughly every 2.8 minutes.
