Epsilon

AI Search Engine For Scientific Research

Visit Epsilon

Epsilon is an AI search engine for scientific research that answers questions by scanning a dataset of over 200 million academic papers and summarizing relevant passages into an answer with inline citations to the underlying sources. It also supports searching for publications and patents, grouping results into categories such as latest research, key texts, and most relevant articles.

The tool can extract information from multiple papers at once for tasks such as meta-analyses, finding citations, or evaluating a claim. Users can upload papers to receive summaries of introductions, results, and conclusions, create libraries to organize research, and run searches across their library. The dataset is provided by Semantic Scholar and includes papers from PubMed, arXiv, Papers With Code, and others; queries are passed to GPT-4 to generate summaries. Epsilon is scheduled to shut down on April 30, 2026.
