Customer Fields

Customer Fields is a Shopify app for collecting, reviewing, editing and approving custom customer data through registration forms. Merchants can build profiles for different customer types, such as retail and wholesale buyers, and access the resulting data through the app interface, exports, Shopify metafields or the REST API.

The app includes a drag-and-drop form builder with templates, field validation, multi-step forms, form revision history, conditional rules for showing or hiding fields, customer auto-tagging, notifications, language settings and editable customer profiles. Data is stored in Shopify metafields, the Shopify admin and an in-app database, with filtering, segmentation and import/export to tools such as spreadsheets, email senders and CRMs. Forms can be installed on Shopify themes without code, and the REST API supports programmatic access to custom fields.

Customer Fields is aimed at Shopify merchants and developers building custom registration experiences. It is available in Basic, Pro and Advanced editions, each with a 14-day trial and a monthly managed-customer limit. Pro adds conditional rules, auto-tagging and app integrations; Advanced adds unlimited forms, account approval and REST API access. Enterprise plans are available for larger customer volumes.
