CodeFactor

Automated Code Review for Humans and AI

Visit CodeFactor

CodeFactor is an automated code review tool that analyzes source code for quality issues and technical debt, tracking new and fixed issues across commits and pull requests. It integrates with GitHub and Bitbucket, updating pull request status directly, and supports a wide range of languages and analysis tools including ESLint, Pylint, RuboCop, Checkstyle, ShellCheck, Trivy, and many others.

Key features include a codebase overview showing quality for the whole project, recent commits, and most problematic files; prioritization of critical issues based on code size, file change frequency, and file size; branch-level inspection toggles; issue creation and tracking from file or project pages; Code Autofix; custom configuration support; and Slack and Microsoft Teams notifications for commits and pull requests.

CodeFactor is packaged by number of private repositories, with unlimited users on all plans. A free Community plan covers unlimited public repositories, while paid Pro and Pro Max editions add private repositories, with varying branch and repository size limits, premium support, and a trial option. A free Pro plan is available for students and qualifying non-profits.
