Claper

Claper is an open-source presentation interaction platform that turns slide decks into live, two-way sessions. It addresses the problem of one-way talks by letting presenters collect audience responses, questions and feedback in real time while the presentation is running, and by producing a record of the session afterwards.

The platform supports polls, quizzes, Q&A, forms, web content embedding, moderation tools, live subtitles and real-time transcription with a searchable transcript, plus session reports and one-click data export. PDF and PowerPoint uploads are supported, and an LMS integration connects with Moodle to import quizzes and synchronize participant data. The interface is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch and Italian. Infrastructure is hosted in the EU with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls and GDPR compliance; the codebase is published on GitHub.

Claper is aimed at educators, corporate teams, event and conference organizers, and public-sector bodies running in-person or hybrid sessions. It can be self-hosted on a server using Docker or a manual installation. A free plan covers events with a small attendee limit, while paid per-event editions scale attendee capacity, presentation file size and features such as data exports, reports, team management and priority support.
