Astera is a no-code data management platform that combines document extraction, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, EDI, data preparation, analytics and AI in a single environment. It addresses the problem of tool sprawl by letting teams move from unstructured documents and source systems through to production warehouses and dashboards without writing code. Centerprise AI serves as the platform's agentic layer, designing and running data infrastructure from natural language requirements while keeping human review in the loop before deployment.
Named capabilities include ReportMiner for extracting structured fields from PDFs, scans and images with built-in OCR; EDIConnect for parsing and validating ANSI X12, EDIFACT and HL7 transactions; and Centerprise AI for integration, modeling, migration and dataprep. The platform connects to 300+ sources with 200+ transformations, supports CDC and batch loads, builds star schemas and Data Vault 2.0 models deployable to Snowflake, Redshift or Azure Synapse, and delivers clean tables to Power BI or Tableau. Centerprise AI adds Skills for encoding metric definitions and business rules, MCPs, a searchable data catalog, RAG stores, natural language querying, and support for locally hosted models.
Astera is aimed at data teams in enterprise and regulated environments, with deployment on-prem or in private cloud. It is packaged as four packages — Data Integration, Data Extraction, Data Preparation and Data Stack — each available through contact with sales, alongside a personalized demo and a free trial.
