AirVPN is a VPN service built on OpenVPN and WireGuard that creates an encrypted tunnel between a user's device and its servers, masking the user's IP address and preventing activity logging. It is designed to protect communications from surveillance by ISPs, governments, and other entities, while also helping users circumvent censorship, georestriction, and traffic shaping.

The service supports OpenVPN over SSH, SSL, and Tor on every server, along with standard ports, to obscure the traffic type. Features include port forwarding, DDNS, an internal VPN DNS, optional block lists for ads and trackers, and Perfect Forward Secrecy with periodic re-keying. All protocols and applications, including P2P, are permitted. The Eddie client is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, and the software is released as open source under GPLv3. An API is also offered.

AirVPN is intended for individuals seeking privacy and censorship circumvention. Accounts allow five simultaneous connections with unlimited server switches and no traffic or time limits. Subscriptions are offered in terms ranging from three days to three years, with payment options including PayPal, credit cards, Amazon Pay, and various cryptocurrencies.
