Advanced Installer

Windows installer authoring tool for installing, updating and configuring products

Visit Advanced Installer

Advanced Installer is a Windows installer authoring tool for building MSI, EXE and MSIX packages, handling installation, updating, patching and configuration of applications through a GUI-driven interface. It addresses the complexity of Windows Installer packaging by providing wizards, a WYSIWYG dialog editor and project import from existing IDE projects, WiX and other installer formats.

Key capabilities include the Repackager for converting existing installers, an MSIX Editor, PowerShell automation, Visual Studio integration, and CI/CD extensions for GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity and Bamboo. It supports Trusted Signing, digital signing, localization, and an optional Updater Cloud add-on for hosting application updates. Additional modules cover patching and deployment through PacKit Plus, SCCM to Intune migration, and Installer Analytics for tracking installs and errors.

The product is aimed at developers, ISVs, IT professionals and managed service providers. It is available in Freeware, Professional, Enterprise and Architect editions, with a 30-day free trial of all features and no credit card required.
